Voting for the Upper House (Legislative Council)

On the Upper House ballot paper, voters have the opportunity to
either vote [1] above the heavy black line or to fill in not less than 15
preferences below the line.

The Communist Party recommends that voters mark their ballot paper for the
Communist Party candidates by voting [1] above the line and not fill in any
squares below the line. The Communist Party is found as group "V" on the
ballot paper.

The Party has already notified the State Electoral Commission of the way
the Party's preferences are to be allocated to other Parties when counting
takes place.

CPA preferences have been allocated as follows:

[1] Communist Party

[2] Progressive Labour Party

[3] The Greens

[4] Independent Community Network

[5] No Privatisation People's Party

[6] Our Common Future (Helen Caldicott)

[7] A Better Future For Our Children

[8] Democratic Socialists

[9] (Godfrey Bigot) People Before Party Politics

[10] Speranza: Hope for Better Health NSW

[11] Tenants Have Rights

[12] Stop Banks Exploiting Australians Group

[13] Australian Democrats

[14] Australian Labor Party

Preferences have then continued for all the remaining Parties and Groups
with One Nation being put last and the Coalition Parties second last.
