Poland "taken for a ride"

The Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski said last week
that his country had been "taken for a ride" regarding the
alleged existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. "That
they deceived us about the weapons of mass destruction, that's
true", he said.

If this is true of Poland it is also true of Australia. In both
cases the Polish President and the Australian Prime Minister went
along with the lies of Bush and Blair and their respective
intelligence organisations.

They both set out to deceive their peoples and drag them into the
Iraq quagmire. Illustrative of the stupidity and faulty reasoning
of the Polish President, he went on to say that it made no sense
to pull Polish troops out of Iraq.

He claimed: "What would be the point of pulling the troops if it
meant a return to war, ethnic cleansing and conflict in
neighbouring countries. If we protest against the US dominant
role in world politics and we withdraw our troops knowing they
will be replaced by US soldiers, what would be the point of such
a move?"

These dire consequences that the Polish President anticipates are
already occurring and are the direct result of the US, British
and Australian invasion and the traitorous role by the leaders of
some other countries who have joined in the dirty game of keeping
their military boot on the heads of the Iraqi people. The Polish
President has proved to be just as subservient to the interests
of the United States as is the Australian Prime Minister.

The Polish President claimed that "passiveness will lead us
nowhere". How about trying some honesty and extend the right of
the Iraqi people to determine their own affairs and get out of
Iraq?
