Other side of the coin

These days where ever you go and when ever you turn on the radio or 
television to listen to news, you hear about one subject first and most. 
"The Refugees" and "The Howard Government's reaction".

John Howard and Philip Ruddock, despite the international condemnation 
against their reactionary actions, are still trying to defend their 
policies against "Refugees" and "humanitarian issues" under the name of 
"Australian Immigration Policies" and "protecting Australian borders".

According to their comments, the majority of Australians do not welcome 
these refugees and see them as "a bunch of queue jumpers who could afford 
to pay smugglers" and therefore as "no genuine refugees"!

But even if what they are claiming was true, it only tells us about one 
side of the coin. What about the other side of the coin?

One wonders why they never comment about the real reasons for all these 
people, whether they are "genuine refugees" or "a bunch of queue jumpers", 
for attempting to look for somewhere to find "Refuge" or even to pay all 
their money to "break the queue in order to be in a better place to live".

What makes them to leave everything they had, their homeland, their 
heritage, their families, their culture, their whole life behind, cut the 
trees of their lives and leave all the roots behind, jeopardise their 
children's lives and their own to flee from all their belongings and 
everything they ever had, accept all the risks, humiliation and try to get 
"somewhere" to live, sick, depressed and with "no hope".

And even more important than that is this question: Who is responsible for 
the migration of thousands of people around the world which is happening 
everyday not out of their willingness to do so, but as a result of their 
desperation, lack of any hope in their homelands and unbearable conditions 
for any human being?

Who is behind the scene of "making life 'miserable' for others and 
'profitable' for ourselves". Play that is on show in many countries like: 
Afghanistan, Asian and African countries and so on with many refugees?

Who is to be blamed for bombing Iraq, Yugoslavia and making people feel 
desperate to flee their homelands?

Who brought "Taliban" to power in Afghanistan? Wasn't that "NATO and 
Allies" and "CIA and their Pakistan puppets"?

Who is responsible for "coups" in Chile, Indonesia, Iran, Congo, and many 
other countries against their progressive governments and installing 
"puppets" as the head of those countries in the past decades?

Who is continuously planning to make other nations "slaves" of "dominating 
powers" and "multinational corporations"?

What is the main cause of such an issue as "Refugees"? And also who are 
thousands of "migrants" who come to Australia legally every year and what 
is the criteria for their selection? Is that "money" or "need"? And who is 
supporting these policies? Are they real Australians and progressive groups 
and parties, or "a bunch of reactionary powers"?

It is time to answer these questions to know more about the "other side of 
the coin"!
