Issue #1557      25 July 2012

Poem

A Day in the Life of an Afghan

Bomb me humanely

Terrorise me with democracy
McDonaldise me, when I
Hunger

Destroy my country
To save it!!!

The old stench of fascism
Is being blown away
By the
New stench of fascism

Uncontrolled B52 joy
Flights
That sweet, heavy, steel rain

This is nothing
Compared to the
Destruction

The vultures from the
World Bank
& the heroin Mafia
Will unleash

As soon as the liberators
Stop killing me…
